Grace Patterson- Mean Girls Fanfic 2011

Disclaimer: I do not own Mean Girls or any of its characters.

My first day of school was a blur. A stressful, surreal blur.

"Cady! Did you have a good day at school?" dad asked, sitting up in his chair. Him and my mom  were on the porch reading, probably eagerly awaiting my arrival home from my second day at North Shore High School. It hadn't been a good day, so I answered honestly.
"No."
"Did you make any friends?" mom pushed, looking slightly nervous as she stared into my soul waiting for an answer.
"Yes," I replied, after a lengthy pause. Janis and Damian weren't exactly my best buddies yet, but they had certainly been the people to show me the most kindness out of anyone so far.
"Were people nice?" Dad questioned, with hope in his voice and a vague smile on his face.
"No," I answered truthfully. Everyone at this school was nasty, rude and judgemental. Even my supposed 'friends'.

The next day was hardly any better. Although, in saying that, Janis and Damian sat by me and offered me a seat with them at lunch. They also mapped out the cafeteria, so I'd know where to avoid when walking to my table with them. "The awesomest people you will ever meet", Janis had labeled herself and Damian. "And the worst.."
She told me this bitterly and with an obvious resentment, about The Plastics, or in more clear terms, the popular group. It consisted of three girls my age, all of whom were particularly good-looking. Gretchen Wiener's father invented toaster strudel. I did like toaster strudel on a winter morning. And Karen had gorgeous blonde hair and massive boobs. But neither of these girls even nearly competed with Regina George. She was like a model from a magazine; flawless, blonde, booby and perfect. I'd never seen anyone so glamorous. Barbie. That's what she was. She was an actual- living, breathing- Barbie doll. Or so I thought.

Janis had always been very touchy whenever I asked why Regina bothered her so much. Damian did try to tell me once but she cut him off before he gave anything away. I guess I was kinda disappointed. Being in a new school, I was willing to get any information I could- about anyone and from anyone. I just wanted to settle down and fit in and maybe eat my lunch at a table and not in a toilet cubicle. Janis and Damian offered me a way out of that. So that day, as I was headed to sit with them, it took me by total surprise that Regina, the queen bee of this new school, stopped me in my tracks and told me to sit down.

She smiled sweetly, but I was wary (because of what Janis had said) that she was just judging me. I felt so uncomfortable. She didn't have a hair out of place. Not a smudge of eyeliner. Not a crease in her size 0 blouse. But against my better nature, I took a seat opposite the teen royalty of North Shore.
"Why don't I know you?" she asked, tilting her pretty face to the side and smiling sweetly.
"I just moved here from Africa," I replied, forcing a smile even though I felt like hiding my face.
"What?" she asked, the smile quickly fading.
"I used to be home-schooled.." I explained, wondering as soon as I'd said it why on earth I had. As if someone like Regina George would care about details of my life.
"Wait. What?" She was starting to look more and more confused, gripping the table and leaning forward as if I was an alien or something.
"My mom taught me at home.." I continued to explain.
"Yeah, I know what home-schooling is, I'm not retarded. So you've actually never been to a real school before?" I shook my head nervously. "Shut up." She exclaimed. I shrugged my right shoulder, unsure of what to say. "Shut up!" She repeated, smiling again now. I assumed she was just mocking my lack of normal upbringing.
"I didn't say anything.." I said, looking to the girls on either side of her for them to back me up. But Karen just looked blank and Gretchen was examining a nail, every now and again glancing up at Regina for approval.
"Home-schooled. That's really interesting."
"Thanks," I said, although I kinda knew she didn't mean it. She meant that I was a social outcast and all-round weirdo. I glanced over to the table where I was meant to be sitting, with Janis and Damian. Janis gestured for me to come. I shrugged my shoulders. I couldn't just get up and leave. The conversation dragged for a little longer, Regina asking where I got my bracelet from and Karen reading the nutritional information on the back of her diet coke. Then, the unthinkable:
"We wanna invite you to have lunch with us, everyday for the rest of the week," Gretchen announced, clearly excited. As I stood up to go to my next class, and as The Plastics dispersed to check their hair in the bathroom, I noticed something strange. Right where Regina had been gripping the table as I spoke, minutes before, there were two large dents. Two large dents in the solid metal table, in the shape of her petite fingers.

The next day, as I had been told, I wore a pink shirt. Because I had nothing pink, I had to borrow something from Damian. He's a big guy, I was practically drowning in it. But, it was pink regardless, so I couldn't exactly complain. I didn't tell them about the table in the cafeteria. What if it's just been my eyes playing tricks on me? I was already the freak from Africa, I didn't need anything else to be held against me. So I stayed quiet, and on the look-out.

Later that day, still dressed in my shame-inducing men's tee, I joined the rest of the Plastics on their daily shopping trip. Following that we went back to Regina's place to hang out, and I didn't put up a fight regardless of my worries that I wouldn't get my math homework finished. Her house, just like her, her car and her mother, looked like it had been taken right out of the latest Barbie collection. Once we were inside, Regina led us to her room. The other girls all stared at their reflections in the mirror, calling themselves out on even the slightest imperfection. I used to think there was just fat and skinny. Now I know there can be a lot of things wrong with your body. It was then that I noticed something that I hadn't before. Until this point, Regina had donned a pink cardigan over the top of her white singlet. But now, in the comfort of her dream house, she had taken it off and made visible a small, metal square. It was literally attached to her back, like a battery pack or a remote control. The sharp metal edge glimmered just above the line of her top, revealing what would soon become my latest discovery. I didn't ask her what it was. I didn't want to be rude. But I just couldn't help but stare. It was so flat and discrete that, had she not had her back to me that afternoon, I may never have noticed it. But now that I had, I would never forget.

Just as Janis and Damian had encouraged, I continued to be 'friends' with the Plastics. I followed them wherever they went and they didn't seem to mind. In fact, they even went so far as to give me advice on make-up and clothes. Gretchen lent me a tartan skirt that was too tight, but that Karen suggested I wear anyway to "show some more skin." As the days passed, I noticed the metal square on Regina's back more and more. It showed vaguely through all her clothes, making me desperate to know what was being hidden. That was the day that the girls introduced me to the 'Burn Book.' In it, they had listed every girl in their year group, with nasty comments about them.
"Trang Pak is a grosky little biatch," read Gretchen aloud, tilting the book so that I could see.
"Still true!" Regina announced, now sitting on the couch opposite me, so I could no longer stare at the metal square projecting from her back.
"Dawn Schwitzer is a fat virgin," continued Karen, stifling a giggle.
"Still half true," joked Regina, making the other two laugh loudly, mockingly.
I looked straight at Regina, though she wasn't looking at me.
"Regina George is some kinda robot," I thought to myself. "Possibly true."

Regina George had never had a day off school because she was sick. I'd only been at the school for half a year and already been off with the flu for three days. So when Gretchen was waiting for me at the lunch table and Regina wasn't there, I knew there was something strange going on. In my newly purchased pink miniskirt and singlet, I walked to Regina's house during my study period for a 'visit'. This would sound selfless, if it weren't for the fact that I just wanted to spy on her and discover what that metal patch was.

I knocked on the massive wooden door, smiling, ready for her mother to answer. But seconds passed and no-one came to the door. Regina's silver Lexus was parked on the driveway, so I knew she was home. I let myself into the house, shutting the door behind me as quietly as I could. I could hear Mrs. George talking in hushed tones in a room on the far side of the house, so cautiously followed the sound of her voice. I peeked around the door frame and almost stumbled forward from the shock. Regina was lying face down on a plush couch topless, wires spilling out from the square on her back. Mrs. George was stood over her with a pair of pliers, systematically cutting various red and blue threads. Clearly she was talking to Regina, but from what I could see her bright blue eyes were closed and she was completely motionless. I tried to step backwards, make a rush for the front door, spill all to Janis and Damian, to anyone who would listen. But before I could leave, Mrs. George turned suddenly and locked her eyes on me.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, still grasping her pliers and leaning over Regina's body.
"I just.. I.. Came to visit Regina," I said, semi-truthfully. She still hadn't moved, her eyes still met with mine. "I'm gonna go now."
I turned around but before I could walk toward the door Regina landed, dropping from the air, directly in front of me. "Oh, you're not going anywhere," she said, in her usual angelic voice, with a sweet but fake smile spread across her face. "Take a seat, Cady."
She reached out with one hand, her palm flat against my stomach, and pushed me. I was flying through the air, before hitting the couch she had, seconds before, been sprawled out on. I landed with a thud, clutching my stomach. This hurt more than when the dodge ball had hit me the day before in gym class.
"You won't be leaving here," Mrs. George wandered towards me as she spoke, hitting the pliers against her free hand. "Until you realise one thing."
I nodded, looking from Regina to her mother to the pliers.
"That I am the hottest girl at this school. And nothing's gonna stop that. Nothing. Especially not you."
"Okay," I said, wanting to agree with anything that she said. I just wanted to get out of this nightmare.
"Okay. I'm glad that's settled. You are not to tell anyone about this," Mrs. George ordered.
I agreed and never said a word to anyone.

But I wrote it on a blank page in the Burn Book.

Elias My 30 Rock FanFic

Liz and the cast are prepping for their filming of The Girly Show. Jenna is doing vocal warm ups.

Liz flails her clipboard in the air, "has anybody seen Tracy"?

"Last time i saw saw him he was teaching some street kids how to play poker", Jenna says as she approaches Liz. "And he promised me not tell anyone if he could set me up with one of them, i think his name was Pedro, or Sanchez."

"What the What"? Liz's phone rings. "Hello Liz speaking".

"L.L, what up?" "Tracy, where are you?, we start shooting in 15 minutes"!

"I can't come in today".

"What?", just teach those street kids poker next time, this is the series finale".

"No i told Pedro and the rest of the hombres that gambling and card games is not a good habit to get into.........It could lead to paper cuts."

"Well, why can't you come in then"?

Tracy sneaks up behind Liz and taps her on the head with a pen. "April fools, hahahahahaha".

The TGS crew all burst out into laughter pointing and taunting Liz.

"Tracy, thats not funny."

"On the contrary, Liz. You see I led you to believe that i wasn't coming into work today. When in fact I did. I even slept here, in preparation for this little April fools prank."

"Well, i think it's stupid. Just because it's the first of the month of April doesn't give anybody the right to behave stupidly."

"I didn't even know it was April, oh boy, better do my taxes from the last 4 years.".

Tracy pulls out a calcualtor and sits on the floor and begins typing away. Jack enters the room holding glass of scotch.

"Ah bravo Tracy. If it's one thing i've learned from watching middle America with a pair of binoculars from my Upper Manhatten Apartment. It's that there is no holiday too small to celebrate. Sure April fools, easter and Martin Luther King Jr's birthday is only accredited on the calenders of grad students and shoppers of Walmart, but doesn't mean we shouldn't bask in it."

"Do you really watch people from your house"?

"Lemon, my point is, have a little fun. Kick your shoes off. Before you know it, we're dead."

"Did you just find out you have a terminal disease".

"No, Avery is making me take yoga classes. It's dreadful. Do i look like i can put my legs behind my head in these Armani slacks and blazer"?

"Wait, you wear your suit to yoga"?

"I used to do yoga" Jenna interrupts. "But that was a time when a man and a woman could express their love in front of a class of 25 people. Of course Manuello decides one day that he's too good for me, when along came a new student. Damn that Katherine, flexible bitch."

Liz frowns and turns to Jenna. "What kind of classes do you get yourself involved in?"

"Uh let me just interrupt there, Pete walks in with a pile of papers. "Liz, bad news."

"What is it now Pete?"

Pete hands her papers. "We're being sued by a man in Oklahoma claiming that Tracy Jordan is impersonating him in every appearance he does television and Film"

Tracy stands up and places his hands on his hips. "That is Bull excrament. I have never----oh yeah that must be Tyler Burgess."

"Tracccyyy. Explain. This is serious and could be a big lawsuit".

Naho's Fanfiction from Enchanted

Disclaimer: I do not own Enchanted, or any of its characters.
Genre: Family

One morning, in the time that the sunlight comes through curtains and twittering birds wake people up, Giselle who was sent from the fantasy world Andalasia to the real modern world New York and found a real love here was awoken by the sounds of the birds pecking at the window. In the queen sized bed, she stretched her arms and rolled over to the other side where Robert Philip who is her beloved one was sleeping peacefully with an innocent look on his face.  He works hard as a lawyer, and is dead to the world on weekends because he can’t get enough sleep on week days. Giselle didn’t want to wake him up so that he could sleep a little longer and relieve his exhaustion, but today is a special day. So, she gently nudged him awake and kissed him on his cheek.  Robert started stirring into awakening, and hazily looked at Giselle. “Good morning, sleepy.” Giselle said and kissed him on the lips this time. Robert asked her “What is the time?” with responding to her kiss. “Just ten past seven. I’m going to get ready for a party. Morgan must be still sleeping. We’d better finish decorating the dining room before she wakes up. Come down when you are ready, honey.” Giselle got off the bed, opened the curtains and window, and went down to the kitchen.

Robert bought this two storied house after the wedding. They could have stayed at an apartment, but Giselle’s animal friends surprised neighbours, so he decided to own this house which he found in suburbs. There are a lot more nature here, and it’s still not too far to go to work for both Robert and Giselle. Also, Morgan who is his daughter by a previous marriage can go to the same school she was at previously by a short bus trip.
Today is Morgan’s seventh birthday. Giselle and Robert have been planning it for over two weeks now because this is the first time that the three of them will be together on Morgan’s birthday, and fortunately the birthday fell on the weekend so that they can spend more leisurely time without having to rush off to work.

Giselle was making breakfast and a cake for birthday party, with her graceful singing. Her voice was beautiful like a bird’s warbling, which called animals into the house to help her. In fact, the doves were sweeping the floor, and the mice were washing dishes. These are not even rare scenes, already had became a part of her life and a routine.

Robert finally came down to the kitchen, kissed Giselle on her cheek in return for her earlier morning one, and started making a cup of coffee himself. “Breakfast will be on the table soon.” Giselle said.  “I’m getting excited! Morgan will be up soon. I hope she likes her presents. ”She is in high spirits, so pleased to celebrate Morgan’s birthday with surprises. Robert calmly said “Of course, she will love it. Let’s get ready for her,” with a look to Giselle.

Morgan woke up as usual and changed her clothes. She was a little bit afraid that her father and stepmother might have forgotten today was her birthday because they didn’t talk about it, even yesterday.  She hesitantly went down to the kitchen, and as she went, an appetising smell came drifting up. Morgan opened the door to the kitchen, at the same time, she heard the sounds of crackers popping off.

“Happy birthday, Morgan!!!”
Morgan thought to herself “Oh, yes! They hadn’t forgotten at all. I’m so excited! ” she looked over to her lovely stepmother and handsome father, they had a big grin on their faces. Giselle brought a big white box which was beautifully wrapped up with a pink ribbon. Morgan’s eyes grew larger and larger, “What could it be?”. She wanted to just rip it open to find out, but then thought “Gosh, the wrapping is too nice to destroy, so I will just quietly undo the package with care.” She was hardly able to contain herself while she was unwrapping the box, but finally there was no more papers or ribbons stopping her from opening the lid of the box. Her eyes grew even bigger as she slowly lifted the lid, then peering inside, there was more paper! “Wow” she thought, but by now she could not hold herself back, she plunged her arms into the box and pulled out the beautiful pastel yellow frilly dress and same colour shoes to match. “You are the princess, today, Morgan!” said Giselle. “Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you! It is so beautiful. May I go and put it on?”said Morgan enthusiastically. “Of course!”said Robert.  “Oh, thank you, Dad!” as she disappeared up the hall and into her room. “Well, that went well.” exclaimed Robert, “and, that was all because of you, Giselle.” “Oh, it was nothing. Come on, Robert! Let’s go and get the rest of party set up!”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The guests had arrived, but only the party girl was missing. “Where is Morgan?” said Robert, but as he looked up, there was the prettiest seven-year-old girl in the world coming down the stairs in her new yellow dress and shoes. “What do you think, Mom and Dad?” said Morgan. “Fantastic!”said Robert, but Giselle could only stand there with her mouth open. “Are you OK?”said Robert. “Yes.”said Giselle. “Do you realise that this is the first time she has ever called me Mom.” For Morgan, Giselle was like not only Mom but also a big sister. Morgan came closer to Giselle and gave her a cuddle.
The party and the rest of the day went well, and as the day came to an end, it was time for Morgan to go to bed. “What a great day it has been!” said Robert. “It looks like both of my girls had a good time, what do you think, Giselle?” “Of course Robert, would you have expected anything else?”

Naho's 10 Fanfiction

1,The Further Adventure of Gaston from Beauty and the Beast(Disney) by Mere L'Oye
The author of this fanfic used 3rd person, and this seems to be a parody, and I identify this as a dialogue transcripts >> fanfic narrative. The plot is set to after the event when Gaston was falling down from the castle's roof and was about to die. The story is simple and easy to follow, which was creating a chuckle although it hasn't been completed yet. It was good to read the after story of the bad guy. I think the author perfectly understand what Gaston is.

2,Always Mad from Alice in Wonderland(2010) by shadowblood13
I think this is a mixture fanfiction of Alternate universe and Future fic. The story lines if Alice stayed at Underworld after the fight between Red and White queens. Because of the long story, this includes a 3rd person narrative, and characters'(Alice, Tarrant, and Pamina ) points of view, and the author created a character which didn't exist in the movie in order to expand the story and make it fun for readers, although it was a little bit confusing for me. I like the way the author described the scenes, and the organisation of the story was good.

3,Of Wolves and San from Princess Mononoke by Draco Libro
The story has gone back to the past which was not in the movie, so this is a Drama type fanfiction. Besides, although the author used 3rd person narrative, the story goes with Moro's perspective. I really enjoyed reading this fanfic, and it is well written. The author amazingly expanded this fanfic from the clue in the movie. I think the author did a pretty good job on this because the setting of this movie was difficult, but the author created this fanfic without destroying the world of Princess Mononoke. I easily could grasp the motions of characters(not only human but animals).

4,Night Runner from Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by The Replicator
I find this fanfic interesting to read, but the author didn't mention about the time line of this, so it took a while for me to get into "reading" it. This is a Novel type fanfiction with 3rd person narrative. Although this hasn't been completed, each chapter seemed to be short and divided in the wrong places. So, I came to the conclusion that this is not for me. But, it was good to see the author using past tense because this series of books is chronicles. In addition, as far as I remember, in the original books, the story goes with characters' points of view, so it was new to read it in the 3rd person narrative.

5,Queen of the Pirates from One Piece by mewstar0013
Compared to the fanfic above, each chapter seemed to be much longer, and was an episode rather than a chapter. The author mentioned about the setting and how the story was going to be in advance, so I didn't get confused reading it, and was easy to read. This is an Alternate universe type fanfiction with 3rd person narrative and gender switch, and the author just followed through the whole story from the original rather than creating her own story. I'm not insulting her way, but I wanted to see her originality except changing gender. However, her way to describe scenes and wording were great.

6,The Last Samurai Poem from Last Samurai by Tsukasa007
This is a Poem type fanfiction which goes through the whole story of the movie with a 3rd person narrative, but still with a slightly different perspective. Also, this was like a summary of the movie and like Nathan's biography. The author simply described the flow of Nathan's thoughts and situations, and there was a good stream of the author's sentences.

7,Rise of the Wolf Clan from Avatar by 931J
The author's imagination and creativity are amazing and admirable. The author wrote this fanfiction as a Future fic. The story is well written and well structured, and also his/her description and wording are fantastic. Because of the future fic., there are a lot of new settings for the Pandora world, so some people might find difficulty in getting into it. Besides, each chapter is quite long but scenes don't change a lot. That's why I didn't lose interest in reading this. I really enjoyed reading this as a new Avatar.

8,A Merry Little Christmas from Enchanted(Disney) by braceface freak
I guess that this fanfiction is a hybrid of Future fic. and HHJJ(Happy happy Joy Joy). The story was well written, and warmed my heart. The author chose a 3rd person narrative to develop this story. I just wanted to read this for a reference to my fanfiction. Because this fanfic has just one scene, it was really easy and enjoyable to read and follow, although there are not many elements from the original movie Enchanted.

9,Winter loves Salt, Darkovsky loves Chenkov from Salt(Movie) by Annabella Carter
This is a Novel type of fanfiction, using a 3rd person narrative with a little retrospection of Winter. The storyline is obviously set in the past that Salt hadn't been arrested in North Korea, and working with Winter. The author's wording skill is pretty good, and I like Winter's monologue part which has still used a 3rd person narrative. But the author used several offensive words, so I didn't want to read through this all, and I felt some of the characters were out of character.

10,Fun in the Kitchen from Enchanted(Disney) by Missglitterystars
This fanfiction is a funfiction! Each page is a one shot story, which is brief and simple, but still makes laughters. The author used a 3rd person narrative for this fanfic, and it seemed to be a Drabble type fanfic, although it's not exactly 100 words in length. Maybe, spin-off short novel is better to describe this fanfic.  Besides, the author properly took advantages of Giselle's background(which she is from a fantasy world and has no idea of a modern life) and made good one-shot stories. I really enjoyed reading this and like this most in my 10 fanfiction.

Love Kim 10 Fanfic Links

1.   Spirited Away 2 Chihiro's Return from Spirited away
      http://m.fanfiction.net/s/6822139/1/

Genre: Romance/Drama
This is written in third person POV. Majority part of the story is in one paragraph so it is hard to follow. When it was said that glancing at Chihiro by an unidentified figure lasted the rest of the day, I lost my interest in this story already. Nothing else happened while she had the Figure staring at her from lunch break until when the school finished! How boring is that -_-” If the stranger was Haku, it has failed to describe the desperate emotions and feelings of how much Chihiro has been missing him. The description of the figure reminded me of the No Face in the original animation which did not appeal to me. I loved and enjoyed the real canon Haku who was handsome, attractive, caring and charismatic. Hence I feel the description of the figure’s character does not appeal to me.  I hope this writer does not change Haku, and similarly the character No Face.
As far as the grammar concerned, there is no space between the paragraphs so it was hard to read through. Some mistakes with punctuation such as a comma after ‘if I scared you’ and an apostrophe in ‘figures’ and so on. This disturbed my joy of reading it. Other than that it was a good read.

2. Trust me from Tangled
This is a romantic fanfic which is written in third person perspective. Although the script is relatively short, it shows how much Rapunzel and Eugene (Flynn) love one another. I enjoyed the way Eugene expresses his strong love towards his lover. The way he proposed to her is even sweet and cute. He is charming. The whole story is going along with dialogue which makes me more want to get into those characters.

3. What You Don't Know  from Tangled
Genre: romance/humour
It is written in third person perspective. The choices of words are so dynamic, expressive and descriptive. The plot of the whole story is well organised and easy to follow. It is so humorous as well as sensual. The fanfic makes me feel that I was there as Rapunzel. The writer expresses carefully the standard of morality as s/he describes the bright side as opposed to the dark side. It has an interesting enough dialogue to read. The writer approaches it with a sensitive and detailed description of the feelings and emotions of the two main characters, Rapunzel and Eugene. This fanfic stimulates and encourages my imaginary world. The vocabularies in the text are so diverse. The writer shows that this fanfic is an enhanced story from the original as bringing the tower and her ex-long blonde magic hair back again in this scene. OMG I loved it. It is the best of all :)

4. Picturesque Moment from Tangled
This is a romantic and humorous fanfic and is written in third person perspective. This is a continued story of after they fell in love with each other. Although there are some descriptions about the sweet hero couple, but it seems to me a bit too slow. Having a few dialogues makes me a little bit bored too. However, I liked the last paragraph which is the description of the Queen POV.

5. A Mother’s Wisdom  from Tangled

Genre:Family/Hurt/comfort                                                                                                           This fanfic is written in literary point of view. The whole story is described through dialogues between Rapunzel and her real mother, the Queen. So it sounds dynamic and interesting.  Since such an intimate relationship did not appear in the canon characters, it has altered the reality of the original. The emotions of both main characters are under controlled. Especially, the last scene about how the Queen met her husband, now a King, attracts my interest to know more about this fanfic.

6. Fantasy from Tangled
Genre: Fantasy/hurt /comfort
This is in third person perspective. The story actually contains a little bit of romantic and funny tastes of Eugene. The writer has however re-created his character as a dowdyish teenage boy. There is no fantasy anymore but the reality. There is plenty of hurting, but where is the comforting?  , Knowing that it is originally a fantasy story helps me accept what the writer has left at the end ‘happily ever afters are only fantasy after all.’ But we all still love the fantasy, aren’t  we?

7. If I never knew you from Tangled
This fanfic crossover Tangled and Pocahontas and is written in third person POV. It is a continued story of the actual movie. The genre is romance, hurt and comfort. It really gives me chill on my face and back as it is so romantic. The descriptions of loving feelings and emotions between the two main characters are great. I haven’t watched the Pocahontas, but I listened to the song through Youtube with trailers to gain a brief story about the movie. I loved the part of the fic which used the song lyrics while they dialogued. I still have goose bumps.  However, as the song repeated and continued until almost at the end, I thought it was a little bit too much. This fandom must have loved the song a lot. Over all, anyway, it is a good crossover fanfic.

8. Aina, The Talentless Witch from Kiki’s Delivery Service
Genre:Adventure/Romance                                                                                                               This fanfic is written in first person from the perspective of Aina, a daughter of Kiki and Tombo. The story’ timeline is much later than the real animation. It is interesting enough to accept that Kiki and Tombo got married and have a daughter now. It shows the continuation of the original story as this fandom keeps Kiki as a canon character. For example, Kiki’s cat and old radio are still in the fanfic. The whole story is not that exciting, but it makes me at least looking forward to reading the next one. I like the last paragraph of ‘not knowing what to expect, and not expecting what I found’.  What’s going to happen next to the talentless witch girl I wonder?

9. Our First Meeting from Tangled
The genre of this fanfic is same as the original movie, romantic and humorous. The interesting aspect for me is that it is written in first person from Rapunzel’s perspective. Apart from that, the setting, storyline and characters are very much the same. “huh… -_-” what is amazing (according to the first review received) about this fanfic. Even what was happening through their first meeting is almost same as the original. I hope this fandom might have to change the title as it makes me to expect more than what is written in here. Is it too judgmental, sorry :) But I enjoyed reading anyway.

10. Now That I See You from Tangled
This is such a romantic fanfic. It is written in the POV of third person. It is very expressive and delicately descripted. I like the sensitivity of the description of the feelings. It has just hooked up my heart and got me.  It is well paragraphed and easy to read through. No single moment makes me bored with. Although it can be a common romantic fanfic, it doesn’t sound stereotypical at all. Especially, the last sentence of ‘but the kiss never came’ makes it so interesting. How brilliant! I truly want to follow this fanfic and find out what is happening after that.

Love Kim's Fanfiction 'Tangled'

This is my fanfic from the Tangled movie. The setting is in the Tower where the sexy witch mom, Mädchen and her stolen daughter, Rapunzel, who was supposed to be the princess live together.
Flynn, the hero, likes to check himself in the mirror a lot and is a real ladies man – or so he thinks. It is a romantic and comic fanfiction I suppose. Hope you nice friends and fans have fun reading my fanfiction and please review :))
Disclaimer: I do not own Flynn or Rapunzel  or any of the characters and settings  in the fanfic. Who owns them then? Who cares!  -_-
==================================================================================
Flynn has been lying down on his back in a bush near the river for hours. The soft sunlight through the edges of the green leaves of sycamore tree tranquilly tickled Flynn’s eyelashes.
‘Rustling rustling…’   he thought it has been a  long time when he last heard this kind of sound with the wind brushing the leaves rolling over the ground. It was pleasantly getting closer and closer. He attempted to open his eyes and feel the glorious sunshine, but he could barely lift up his eyelid.
He could remember almost nothing about what happened to him last night and that’s why he is where he is now - but it was predictable anyway.
“u...uh, she must have smacked my head again, with that weapon, that damn frying pan.”
He recalled Rapunzel and groaned. He then started gazing. What he was seeing was not the leaves blown by the wind nor a little birds or squirrels. He realised that two legs, the two bare legs were standing near his nose. It was unbelievable what was coming through in his misty eyesight. He was quickly pleased they were not belonging to a male species. They were shining like subtly moonlight and were sometimes exposed over a see-through pale pink sheer dress.  He would not stop staring up and up and up again to her body. “um” he enjoyed secretly. He hoped badly it was not a dream.
“\\\”
He could not help peering at her silhouette. Her silky curly blonde hair falling down to her twenty four inch waist that was freely dancing in the air. She started curving her back backwards and pushed her chest so hard to the front while she flicked a bit of hair from her thin lips back behind her right shoulder with her fingers.
“ \\\ ”
“phw”  he sighed and feeling relieved.
Flynn just remembered the time that he was once with Rapunzel in her tower with dazzling blonde hair.
“Ra-pun-zel?” He called her carefully.
“\\\”
He managed to raise his bust. He then looked up and tried to see her face more clearly.
“Are you... F-lynn?!” she said for the first time. Her voice was so sweet and tender just like honey.
“I saw you at the tavern in down the village the other day” she then struggled to force the muscles around her lips over to the side. Her eyes are rather seductively gazing at his eyes.
He wanted to feast from her honey jar.
“Uhhh, no” Flynn instinctively noticed something must be going on in his body.  Adrenaline readily pumping up to his heart and Dopamine became flooded in his blood . It was not unusual for him though as it happens at least once every six months. Almost all local people in his village have known him as a Casanova. However, this was not the same heart pounding phase as the ones before. It was simply much faster than he could ever experience. Even when he stole the tiara and bolted away from death at the kingdom, he was okay in a second. Nothing has made him feel quite like this before. He had not felt this way.
As more he tried to manage his breath, more his heart was aching.
He thought this girl will not be Rapunzel, who brandished frying pan over his head swimmingly like a villain.
He wondered who she is, but it does not matter now.
“Ah,  I think I have s-ee-n you before. Ye-p,,, now I remember ”  “You, ah, are” he stuttered as blinked his eyes numerous times and  scratched his messy hair.
He then bent over his back and grabbed the brown leather worn out jacket from the ground and tried to put it on over the loose white T-shirt.  He flipped it over back and forth. He could not figure out how to wear it.
“Is not that a saddle, Flynn?” she broke her silence.
Damn the horsy” he murmured. “uh” he showed her his front six teeth.
He dropped it off quickly and decided to show off his triangle shape of masculine trunk with hairy chest and biceps and triceps.  But he could not because he does not have them, sorry. He gasped as she was too close to his chest. Her goddess scent could stop his heartbeat.  She was drop-dead gorgeous. His cheeks were getting blushed. He blamed the Schwarzbier he drunk last night for everything.
“Your name is?” he swiftly asked.
“Mädchen” she responded.
He secretly planned to swoop her and kiss her. Doing this was almost always a success to win the beauties. He grabbed her waist with his two hands before she realises too much about what is going on. He then pulled her tightly towards him. His lips were beginning to reach to hers ...
“No” She pushed his chest away and spanked his left cheek.
“Ahhh---ah” He screamed.
“Flynn, Flynn Rider, you okay?” Rapunzel kept slapping Flynn’s left cheek desperately to wake him up.
“Uh, oops” his eyes were widened and the pupils were enlarged.
“Why have you been grabbing my blanket that tightly. She was annoyed.
“Huh, this is the worst scenario that could happen to me, eh, s**t” he complained silently.
“Hey listen, my mom will be coming back soon so please leave now” Rapunzel demanded.
Without knowing who she was in his dream, he could not think of anything else.
Flynn would never know Mädchen is actually Rapunzel’s sexy witch mother.  His heart has already been stolen. This went too far and too deep. No one had a clue that why the witch was brushing her daughter’s hair for ridiculously long late last night.
“Rapunzel, my dare daughter, let your hair down, mom is home” Mädchen called her loudly.
“hhh, hhh, hhh,” Rapunzel and Flynn panicked.

Bex's Fanfiction

Set in the Supernatural canon.
=================================================================

The motel room's got four points of entry. The front door, the back door, the window or gunning the Impala straight through the wall. In the state of inebriation that Dean is wallowing in, the last idea is the best. The only problem is that his hands are shaking and the double visions severe enough that he'll probably end up in next door's room where some fifty year old dude's banging two prostitutes.

Dean takes another swig of the bottle of whiskey. Another sip and the things empty. Then he'll use it to smash some skin off Walt's face. Son of a bitch thought he'd got away with it, even thought he'd saved them all. Killed Sam and when the apocalypse ended a few weeks later he thought he was why.

“Dick,” Dean slurs and then takes another sip.

All gone.

All done and dusted.

Well, not quite yet.

Getting out of the car is difficult. Walking up to the door is a little easier. Before he knocks he realises he's forgotten his gun.

“I'll fucking beat them to death,” he says and then he knocks. “Right, Sammy.”

There is no answer from his younger brother.

Walt is not the one to open the door. It's Roy.

“Well helllooo there.”

Dean falls forward a little and Roy instinctively pushes him back. That's better. He's upright now; he's actually fucking standing straight.

“Dean?” Roy asks.

“Thassa me. And this is for you.”

He swings the bourbon bottle and it hits Roy square on the check. Good aim for a dude who's been through two bottles of Jack. Roy tumbles backwards, feet flinging out from beneath him and sprawling on the mat which beams; WELCOME!

“What the fuck?” Someone calls from the back and it's fucking Walt.

Dean steps into the room and passes the door. Walt is standing up from the bed. His eyes flick from Roy to Dean to Roy.

And then back to Dean.

His hands go behind his back but Dean charges him. He catches him round the waist and slams him against the wall, his own head connecting but he's already dizzy. No fucking difference there though now blood's dripping over his eyes.

Walt tries to knee him in the stomach and Dean throws him onto the bed.

His fists connect with his nose, his cheekbone, splitting and cracking bone and flesh and blood flicking into his mouth. He spits it out into Walt's swollen, purple eye and continues on.

“YOU STUPID FUCK!” He's screaming but it's distant, secondary to nothing but the pummelling of Walt's body. “HE FUCKING DIED FOR YOU AND YOU TRIED TO KILL HIM!”

Out of the corner of his eye Roy is standing up, steadying himself on the TV. Walt's had enough for now so Dean flips him over; “'scuse me, boss. Gotta borrow something,” and pulls the gun from the back of his pants.

Roy is very, very afraid. One side of his face is mottled with bruises and the other side is as pale as a vamp.

Dean casually points the gun at him, one handed. His knuckles are dripping crimson. He flicks off the safety.

“I didn't wanna do it, Dean,” Roy begs, holding his palms up to Dean and his tiny fucking body quaking. “I swear. You heard me. I didn't wanna shoot you. He did it. He killed you both.”

“Sam,” Dean growls. “Know what happened to him?”

Roy shakes his head.

“We came back to life after you shot us. And he took Lucifer into his body and jumped into Hell. He jumped INTO FUCKING HELL FOR YOU!”

His finger tightens on the trigger and Roy shrieks.

“PLEASE- please, Dean. We didn't know. We didn't fucking know.”

“He tried to tell you,” Dean replies. On the bed Walt is stirring so he better get this over with. “Doesn't matter anyway. You still killed him, he came back to life and now he's in Hell. And I plan on joining him there.”
The gunshot is not as loud as the sound of Roy's body hitting the ground. Or at least it seems that way to Dean. Though the bang will reverberate in his ears for days afterwards, it's Roy's body collapsing into the WELCOME mat that he hears right then.

He turns around and points the gun at Walt's swollen face, his body strewn across the bed. He's partially conscious but he can hardly see through his swollen face.

Dean remembers catching the reflection of his own face in the Impala after Lucifer beat him half to death. It looks like Walt's and that image doesn't even make him hesitate.

A few minutes after he's strewn Walt's brains across the white sheets he begins to hear everything again. Some chick next door is screaming hysterically and in the distance there's a siren approaching. People are shouting and someone appears at the door before running away, their feet pattering loudly on the pavement.

Dean doesn't move. He stands by the bed with the gun held lifelessly at his side.

“Hello, Dean,” a voice says and he doesn't even turn around.

“You're too late, Cas,” he says and he realises he doesn't care anymore. He's done. This was his last act in the world because he had zero to nothing to live for and now he's into the negatives. “You should start working overtime.”
He lifts the gun to the side of his head and there is no pause. His finger decompresses, the metal gives way beneath it but he's interrupted.

Castiel appears in front of him, his arm already outstretched and his fingers on Dean's forehead like they had always been there.

He moves from awake to asleep so fast that he is briefly aware of the darkness and it is not the sweet relief he finds after drinking too much.
